hi it’s luna. today was the day. the humans took me to the kennel. i am here now. i am not very happy.

the kennel is okay. there are other dogs. but it’s not home. i miss my bed. i miss my humans. i miss the tiny human. i look around. i see lots of tails. lots of noses. but not the ones i love.

i have my toys. i have my blanket. they smell like home. i sniff them a lot. they make me feel a little better. but i still feel sad. i wonder when the humans will come back.

the people here are nice. they pat my head. they say it’s okay luna. but i still wait. i listen for my humans. i hope i hear them soon.

i play a little. with the other dogs. it’s fun. but i keep looking. hoping to see my humans. they said they’ll be back. i try to believe them.

it’s quiet at night. i curl up with my blanket. i think of home. i hope the humans come back soon. i miss them so much.

i will be brave. i will wait. they always come back. i hope it’s soon.
