hi it’s luna. today is loud. so loud. the neighbors are doing something. they call it renovation. i call it noise.

it started early. bangs and booms. machines that growl. i did not like it. i tried to sleep. but the noises said no.

i went to the window. i looked out. i saw people. i saw things moving. i barked. i thought maybe they’ll stop. but they kept going.

the humans said it’s okay luna. they said it won’t be forever. i sighed. i lay down. but my ears stayed up. listening to the noise.

i tried to play. to distract myself. but the bangs were too loud. i couldn’t focus. i thought why do they have to be so loud.

i spent the day moving. from spot to spot. trying to find quiet. it was hard. the house felt different. it felt shaky.

i can’t wait for it to stop. for the quiet to come back. i hope the neighbors finish soon. i want my peace back.

i will be brave. i will wait out the noise. but i really don’t like it.
