hi friends luna here. today is not like the other days. it’s cold outside. it’s wet too. i looked out the window. i saw the rain. i heard the wind. i thought no thank you.

but inside. it’s different. there’s a fire. it’s warm. it crackles. it dances. i like watching it. it makes me feel cozy.

i found the perfect spot. right by the fire. not too close. just close enough. the warmth touches my fur. it makes me sleepy.

i snuggled there all day long. i watched the flames. i listened to the rain. sometimes i closed my eyes. i thought this is nice.

the humans were there too. they sat by the fire. they read books. they drank something warm. they looked at me. they smiled. they said luna has the right idea.

i think they’re right. on cold wet days. the best place to be. is by the fire. snuggled up. feeling the warmth.

i didn’t mind the weather today. not when i had the fire. not when i felt this warm. not when my humans were with me.
