hi friends luna here. today was garbage day. you know what that means. the big loud trucks come. they rumble and roar. i find them scary.

i was on guard. as soon as i heard the noise. i knew what to do. i barked. i barked loud. i wanted them to know. this is my house.

they stopped in front of our house. the noise got louder. i didn’t back down. i barked even more. i thought i must protect the house.

the humans said it’s okay luna. but i wasn’t so sure. i kept barking. until finally. the trucks moved on. they went away.

i watched them go. i wagged my tail. i felt proud. i thought i did it. i scared them away. i am a hero.

the humans laughed. they said good job luna. i felt even prouder. i thought being a hero feels good.

i know the trucks will come back. but i’ll be ready. i’ll bark again. i’ll protect my house. because that’s what heroes do.
