hi friends luna here. today is st. patricks day. the humans say so. they’re wearing green. they look funny. i wonder. should i be green too.

i saw a dog on the walk. it had a green bandana. it looked proud. i thought maybe i need one too. to be part of st. patricks day.

the humans talk about luck. about leprechauns. i don’t know what those are. but they sound interesting. i sniff around. i look for them. just in case.

i think about being green. i look at my fur. it’s not green. i wonder how i’d look. would i be a green dog. running around. would the other dogs recognize me.

i decide i don’t need to be green. i can celebrate in my own way. with extra wags. with happy barks. i can be lucky luna. without the green.

the humans give me a special treat. they say happy st. patricks luna. i wag my tail. i think this is nice. i like st. patricks day.

i hope everyone finds some luck today. green or not. we can all be a bit irish. we can all celebrate.
