hi friends luna here. guess what happened today. on our walk. i saw a deer. it was big. it was graceful. i was so surprised.

i wanted to chase it. very bad. i thought maybe i can catch up. maybe we can play. but the deer looked at me. then it jumped away.

the humans held my leash tight. they said no luna. we can’t chase the deer. i pulled a little. i whined. i really wanted to go.

but the deer was fast. it disappeared into the trees. i watched it go. i thought deer are magical. so quick. so quiet.

i calmed down. i kept walking. but i kept thinking about the deer. i wondered where it went. what it was doing.

i hope i see it again. next time i’ll be ready. i’ll watch. i’ll learn. i won’t scare it away.

seeing a deer was special. it made my walk exciting. i can’t wait to tell the other dogs.

i’ll dream about deer tonight. about running with them. maybe one day.
