hi friends luna here. something is happening outside today. the human has a machine. it’s very loud. i don’t like it.

the machine is connected to the garden hose. but it’s not like when we water the plants. the water comes out fast. it comes out loud. it sprays everywhere. i watched from a distance. i thought what is this noisy thing.

the humans call it a pressure washer. they say it’s for cleaning. i see them spray the driveway. the sidewalks. it makes things look cleaner. but the noise. the spray. it’s too much for me.

i stay back. i watch. i don’t go near. i think why can’t we use the quiet hose. the one that just dribbles water. i like that better.

the human notices me watching. they say it’s okay luna. it won’t hurt you. i wag my tail. but i’m still unsure. i think i’ll just watch from here.

i hope they finish soon. i want the quiet back. i want to go out and sniff around. without the loud water machine.

loud machines are not my favorite. but i’m glad the human is handling it. not me. i’ll wait. i’ll be patient. i’ll wait for the quiet.
